This box pleated skirt is made from sashiko woven fabric in entwa's original colors.
The slightly bluish grey color is a soft and delicate shade that gives off a clean vibe even when worn casually.
The moderate tension unique to sashiko woven fabric creates a beautiful tent-shaped silhouette.
The deep tucks give a clean look around the waist while creating a natural drape towards the hem.

The SASHIKO series incorporates the sashiko weaving technique used in the traditional Japanese martial arts uniforms, known as " dogi ," into everyday clothing .
Entwa uses sashiko weaving, which is the same technique used for kendo uniforms.
It is sturdy and strong, yet lightweight and easy to handle.

Since the holes are open, you can tighten it or loosen it by reducing the number of rubber bands.

We try to minimize changes in the texture and elasticity of the fabric when washed for the first time, but when washing, please refer to the quality label and choose a method that suits your home washing machine.
▫︎We recommend avoiding the use of a dryer and drying in a well-ventilated, shady area to prevent fading.
We also recommend hand washing dark colored clothing separately.
