The box pleated skirt is now available for the first time in entwa's classic SASHIKO series.
The moderate tension unique to sashiko woven fabric creates a beautiful tent-shaped silhouette.
The deep tucks give a clean look around the waist while creating a natural drape towards the hem.
Although the ink is dark, the rich texture of the sashiko weave keeps it from feeling heavy.
This is a reliable color for everyday wear, as it not only complements elegant looks, but also embraces and brings out playful colors.

The SASHIKO series incorporates the sashiko weaving technique used in the traditional Japanese martial arts attire, known as " dogi ," into everyday clothing .
It is made using the same sashiko weave used in kendo uniforms, making it sturdy and durable, yet light and easy to handle.

Since the holes are open, you can tighten it or loosen it by reducing the number of rubber bands.

▫︎At entwa, we test the fabric washing process in advance so that you can wash it safely at home. We try to minimize changes in the texture and elasticity of the fabric when washed for the first time, but when washing, please refer to the quality label and choose a method that suits your home washing machine.
▫︎We recommend avoiding the use of a dryer and drying in a well-ventilated, shady area to prevent fading.
We also recommend hand washing dark colored clothing separately.
