The box pleated skirt is now available for the first time in entwa's classic SASHIKO series.
The fabric has just the right amount of tension, creating a beautiful tent-shaped silhouette.
The deep tucks give a clean look around the waist while creating a natural drape towards the hem.
The skirt has a soft and gentle image, but the rich, bumpy texture of the sashiko fabric gives it a mature feel without being too sweet.

The SASHIKO series incorporates the sashiko weaving technique used in the traditional Japanese martial arts uniforms, known as "dogi," into everyday clothing.
Entwa uses sashiko weaving, which is the same technique used for kendo uniforms.
It is sturdy and strong, yet lightweight and easy to handle.

The thick waist with three elastic bands gives a slimming effect around the hips, while not restricting the body too much.
Since the holes are open, you can tighten it or loosen it by reducing the number of rubber bands.

▫︎At entwa, we test the fabric washing process in advance so that you can wash it safely at home. We try to minimize changes in the texture and elasticity of the fabric when washed for the first time, but when washing, please refer to the quality label and choose a method that suits your home washing machine.
▫︎We recommend avoiding the use of a dryer and drying in a well-ventilated, shady area to prevent fading.
We also recommend hand washing dark colored clothing separately.
